Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Philippines

My son is a 17 year old but he will be 18 by Feb 3.He was hit by an employee of an internet cafe but the said man was still in the premises of the establishment.When my son got a chance he was able to find a rock and threw it to the door of the said establishment.Then the owner said he don't care about the trouble his employee do to my son what he as after is of his property.We said we are willing to pay to the damage my son done,but the owner said he don't want money,he want to teach a lesson and he should file a case.My son is still studying.Could my son will be in prison?How long he will serve his mistake?Do the owner has no obligation toward his employee?Can he proceed the case even we are willing to make a settlement about the problem?

Your son can be charged for malicious mischief.If proven guilty the penalty will depend on the value of the damaged property. The employer can be held liable for damages only.
