Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Philippines
My uncle borrowed check from me twice for a loan purpose. Then he failed to pay his loan. Now the person who lent him the loan is harassing me. Do i have to pay the debts of my uncle even if i am not the one who lend him? The check is already stale.

If you signed as a co-debtor and the liability is solidary then a case can be filed against you and you can be compelled to pay the whole amount. But if you did not sign anything then no need to worry about the debt.
