Legal Question in Technology Law in Philippines
I have this question in connection with the modern age of technology. 1 company in the Philippines where my friends are working, they have this technology in the ofiice which everything is in the systems. everyone has the access to the internet and also yahoo messenger. Their boss retrieve all their private message of the yahoo messenger, all means everything even from the past. eevm message from other people sending inside the compny a private message. is it legal or they have the right to do it? please give me sa idea of it? thank you.

This may amount to prying into ones own privacy. I can see that there is a cause of action for damages here. The act appears to be very annoying. Hence, your friends and company can file a criminal complaint for unjust vexation against the boss. Good luck to all of them.
