Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Philippines

I am a credit card holder, I pay my dues every month and my credit limit is P20,000.00, I pay my dues monthly. Last january and february 8, 2011, I paid my dues in the amount of P5,000.00, then I received a demand letter dated February 9 demanding for payments, I presumed that my payments have not been recorded yet which I think is impossible with computers and all that. Now I'm being harassed and being told thru text messages that I will be hauled to court because my last payment is February 8, 2011. I got the surprise of my life, I will be charged because my last payment was february 8, 2011 and it hasnt been a month since my last payment. What is my legal right as consumer and is there any cause for me to be hauled in court?

Try to write a letter to the credit card company and inform them that their collecting agents are so rude. Tell them that you will sue them for damages. They have no right to harass you even if you owe them.
