Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Philippines

My friend's parents has collected debts from credit card companies and other friends and has been unable to pay consistently the full amount. Recently they both passed away. Is there a chance that my friend will be legally forced to pay the debt ?

The way you construct your question is confusing. However, if what you are asking is whether your friend can be compelled to pay the debts of his parents the answer is in the negative.
