Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Philippines

a x-friend of mine ask me to help him to sell his laptop for php7500 (7000 will go to him and 500 to me)that needed reformat. with his word i trusted him and find a buyer of the said laptop , i told the buyer that the laptop only needs reformat so it will work properly again (according to my friend. owner of the said laptop). then when the buyer go to the computer shop for the laptop's reformat,the technician said that its board is damage and it will cost her much money before it will be fix. then the buyer wants to return the laptop to me. Then Me and the buyer went to my friends house, my friend is not there, nowhere to be found. His housemaid contacted him and he said that he only wants to give his Cell no. to the buyer and not to me. The buyer contacted him and My friend said that he didn't get any money. (not true because 7000 goes to him.). The buyer believe him and With the words of my friend the buyer told me that i have to return her money and if i don't she threaten to sue me. What can i do with this? and a i liable for this incident, will i be in jail?
