Legal Question in Criminal Law in Philippines
my father stole my inheritance in 1986 which consisted of a ring which is platinum with pink diamonds worth $1 million and a check for 10 million pesos. he gave these to my sister who cashed the check and apaarently sold the ring as she was able to purchase 3 properties when she went to the states also in 1986. what can i do to get these items back or the amount of the ring if it was sold and the amount of the check. she is in georgia now. i am in the philippines.

The problem here is our courts have limited jurisdiction to your sister since she is abroad. You also need evidence to prove your claim.
