good day po atty tanong ko lang po my mga issue po sa akin na check 4 yrs ako na different dates pero dineposit ko po lahat sabay sabay 4 yrs na po ang nakakaraan and di pa po ako nakakapag demanda ano po kaya maganda gawin at ung mga checks po na 2malbog sabi po nya lagyan ko daw po 5% interst ang problem po wla po kme written contract pero meron po ako isa kasama na nakakaalam ng usapan namen kc kasama ko po cya nung nag usap 2ngkol dun and pano po kya kung wla na me pera pang file sa atty and sa case meron po kya atty na pwede 2mulong sakin para po masampahan ng kaso ung tao na bank manager po dati ng isang bank sa makati kahit po pag nasingil ung tao khit po magbigay ako 20% ng total na masisingil bale ung utang nya po ay 850,000 lahat wala pa pong interest sa 4yrs salamat po atty

You can no longer prosecute that person for bouncing checks considering its been 4 years. But you can still sue him/her for simple collection.Lawyers will only handle your case on contingency if that this person has a capacity to pay. Better ask that person to issue another post date checks and if the same still bounce then send a demand letter to him/her and better file a criminal case. Don't wait for 4 years again.
