Re: subpoena

There is no point in evading the service of the subpoena. Kumita na yan. The law only requires the last known address of the respondent in a criminal case. The preliminary investigation can push through even without you. If you refuse to defend yourself now, or at least try to strike a compromise/settlement, then you may just wake up one day with an actual criminal case on your hands. The NBI and police will be notified and you will not obtain any clearance for employment purposes. Face your accusers, and be honest about your situation. More importantly, get a competent lawyer to defend you.
