hi attorney. I have a girlfriend and she had a daugther on her ex boyfriend, i just like to know what is the process and how much it will cost if i will transfer the surname of her daugther in to mime in case we get married.

In case you get married your surname cannot be carried by the daughter of your girlfriend unless you resort to adopting the child. This will entail an adoption proceedings.
