Legal Question in Family Law in Philippines

Dear Lawguru,

How can I claim as a sole beneficiary the benefits from the company where my mother (deceased) had been employed for 21 years because the company wants to give it to my father who had abandoned us and its now 31 years already for the reason that they were legally married.I also found out that my father entered another marriage, when my mother was very much alived,in fact I have a copy of the said CENOMAR from NSO .Pls help me about my legal rights for her claims since I can no longer locate my father.

You have to engage a counsel and file a case against the employer for money claim.You are o0ne of the heirs thus you have the right to succeed.
