good day!thanks for the reply.i have another question hope you will help me again.my cousin was in abroad and the family of her ex bf was very mad at her bec.she made a mistake she had an affair with the family friend of his ex bf..and she admitted it bout the relationship that they had.the family of her ex is very mad at her all her things was confiscated by the family of her ex....and all her private things and conversation with the guy in a social network was posted on a site.and her daughter was hiding by his father(her ex bf) what is the best thing that we can do to get the custody of the child.as what i have said in my first email they are not married and she's the one providing for all the needs of her child and her ex as well...hope you will help me again thanks so much.GODBLESS

I think I already gave you the answer: File a criminal case for violation of RA 9262 Violence Against Women and Their Children. The fact that he has been depriving the mother of the custody can be a form of psychological violence. Or she can resort to filing a petition for habeas corpus with child custody.That is the best thing to do to gain the custody of the child. Better engage a counsel of your own choice to represent your cousin in this regard.
