Legal Question in Family Law in Philippines
my husband failed to give our kids financial support since 2006...our case in the court has been activated this year because of his request to lift the hold departure order...he is now offering P4K monthly support.. My demand is P15K monthly...he said he cannot afford it...Is it true that I cannot demand for support for the past years that he did not comply with his commitment to the kids? if we will not agree on the 2nd mediation, what maybe the outcome or what will the judge order? is it already the conviction? If he will be imprisoned, for how long? He deserve to be executed kasi "wala syang kwentang ama". Pinabayaan nga ang mga anak nya...
Please help me...

You have to talk to the lawyer handling your case as it would be unethical to give an opinion when there is already a pending case and another lawyer is in charge.
