Our legal processes is limited since your husband is out of the country. Child support is a personal action and for the court to acquire jurisdiction over your husband summons should be served to him personally. Extra-territorial service of summons either by personal service or publication cannot be done. This is because the action does not involve status of the person or a claim on a real property.
