Legal Question in Family Law in Philippines
I just want to ask legally if my marriage is voidable? The information in our Marriage Contract has lot of misleading information. First, my address is incorrect. I never lived in the address stated there even a day. Secondly, the Vice Mayor officiates the civil rights but it was the Mayor who signed it. Thirdly, the location of the marriage took place in a reception located in other municipality wherein it was noted in the contract that it happened in the Mayor's Office. Fourthly, it is definitely out of jurisdiction of the Mayor or Vice Mayor who conducted the civil rights. I have all the evidence pertaining to all the facts and figures as well as the people who witnesses the event. My other concern is that I was threaten by my ex-wife's relative before the wedding. The only thing is that I don't have a witness or evidence because it's between us. I was told not to tell anyone so I was force to marry my ex-wife. We are already separated for almost five years but not yet legally. Please advise accordingly.

If you can prove the alleged facts then file a petition for declaration of nullity of marriage.
Better engage a counsel of your own choice.
