does marriage license is needed in civil wedding? in getting license it is possible that my bf alone will apply for it bec. im here in abroad. What are the others requirements needed for a civil wedding? thank you!

Yes, both of your should file separate applications. Your bf can send the applications to you and just fill it up and have it authenticated before the Philippine consulate. Or you can inquire to the Philippine consulate on your application for marriage license.
