The waiting period is only when the judgment declaring the marriage null and void or as voidable becomes final and excutory. That is fifteen (15) days from the time you (by counsel)received the decision and fifteen (15) days after the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) receives the decision and fifteen (15) days after the respondent received the copy of the decision. Thus, you have to check it in court. Then the court will issue a certificate of finality attesting that the decision has become final and executory and no motion for reconsideration or appeal was initiated by the other party, either the government or the respondent spouse.

Once the decision becomes final and executory the spouses are free to contract another marriage.

Good luck to you.
