I assume your fiance is a Filipino. You are right, there is no divorce under Philippine jurisdiction. What he can do is to file a Petition for Declaration of Nullity of his marriage. He could not remarry even abroad until and unless the Decree of Nullity is issued by a competent court here. Please email me for further queries.

Your boyfriend must first cause annulment or declaration of nullity of his marriage before he can legally marry you.
