My parents are planning to get a legal separation in the Philippines. The only property they've got is a house and lot. My mom asked my dad to move out but my dad won't move out unless my mom will give him some money. How much can my dad get from my mom? They don't have any joint account. The only money that my mom got is the money I sent her for five years. She opened up an account five years ago together with my brother. Is my dad entitled to any of that money?

Under NY law, the money was a gift directly to her form a family member. It is not a part of the marital estate and he gets none.
