Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Philippines
My aunt died 3years ago, No husband. Remains to be single. But she has an illegitimate son but not trully her son. she adopted him but there's no adoption papers. Only that she signed and appears his NSO birth certificate that my aunt is her mother and also signed an affidavit of an illegitimate child 2nd page of his NSO birth certificate..My aunt left properties worth a million.. who will be the succesor then? the brothers and sisters of my aunt or his only illegitimate son? They file a case to the son of my aunt under civil case. Cancellation of entry in the certification of live birth.. What would be the result of the litigation?
