oral defamation, grave threats, slight physical injuries

Can a person be imprisoned because of oral defamation? grave threats? slight physical injuries? If so, how long would the imprisonment be? Can it be paid via bail bond? How much is the usual amount for the said offences?

yes. it is a criminal case and conviction may provide imprisonment depending on the counts and nature of offense by which one is convicted. bail bond is available only during trial and not when conviction is final and executory.

yes, the person if convicted can be put behind bars. This is a minor offense however where the imprisonment would merely be months. Payment of bond is merely for the purpose of temporary liberty during court trial but after conviction, bond no longer applies.
