Filed a K-1 visa
Since I filed the K-1 visa my fiance and I decided to get married before coming to America is there a way to change the K-1 to a K-3 We decided since we have been together for 3 years to marry so her family can be at the wedding... Is this a problem now... K-1 was filed two mths ago.

Re: Filed a K-1 visa
We can request a change from K-1 to K-3 but additional evidence would be required and the process may actually be longer than just withdrawing the original petition and filing a K-3 petition.
May cause delays
Refiling or redoing immigration petitions often introduce huge delays into the procedures.
You may want to consider just continuing with the process.
There is no legal prohibition against having a huge second wedding ceremony in her country after she had arrived in the US and you two legally married in the US.
