Legal Question in Immigration Law in Philippines
how can i process my spouse visa, that my husband is on bagdad iraq, and formally deployed there? he is a u.s. army.We get married here on the Philippines almost a year nd a half..

Your spouse visa can be filed and processed notwithstanding your husband's deployment in Iraq. The petition for alien relative (spouse) should be filed with the USCIS office having jurisdiction over your husband's place of residence in the US. Once approved, the petition will be forwarded to US Embassy, Manila for further processing. It is the US Embassy which will issue you either a K-3 or CR-1 visa (whichever you would choose to be processed). For further information, you may email me at [email protected] or at [email protected].
