what if my boss died and he has properties and no family left?who will claim his properties?

If he is a foreigner then the order of succession, amount of successional rights and intrinsic validity of the will shall be governed by his national law. But if he is a Filipino the Philippine law applies. In that case, an escheat proceedings is appropriate if nobody can inherit either by intestate or testate succession.
