Legal Question in Employment Law in Philippines
Our company change its owner last month. No one of us knows about it then last November 5, 2010 we discover that our old boss die. This is our biggest question... WE WILL RECEIVE 13TH MONTH PAY?IS THAT MONTH ONLY? because our new bosses told us that they only trying to have all of our 13th month pay.

If your company was sold to the new owner then the assumption of obligations to the company's employees will depend on whether it was included in the contract selling the company to the new owner. Otherwise, the new owner has no obligations in this regard. It is still the obligations of the original owners of the company.
