Legal Question in Employment Law in Philippines

what is the exemption of labor laws

Is a business who have 6 employees covered by the the labor laws?

I just put up a business of marketing for almost 7 months only.. One of my employee file a case against me on labor for the reason of illegal suspension? illegal dismissal? salary? 13th months pay?

The reason why i suspended my employee is she is always coming to work too late, and i ddnt terminate her but she is is the one who didnt report on work.

This is the whole story so you will know the situation.. This employee know her work as a field work but one day her sister come over to our office and telling us that we should not let their sister to work outside and she got angry because her sister gone home to late because she is always come to work late so normaly she go home late, and day again another sister come over and telling us that their sister must not work outside but her work she applied for us is marketing. because of this reason that his two sister come over and dectating me on how should i on their sister work.. I decided to inform her sister (my employee to quit because i dont want that her sister will come over again n teach me on how to do)

Re: what is the exemption of labor laws

All companies no matter the size are subject to follow labor laws.

It is in the interest of all companies to have a company policy which covers the rules of employment. This policy will dictate the way company will handle employee relations and must conform to labor law.
