Legal Question in Employment Law in Philippines

my maid was banned to enter the village without due process. No notice was received by the maid regarding the ban. She was banned by the homeowner who was her previous employer just for the reason of not reporting & seeing her doing a side line job (grass cutting) inside the village. The Village president wants a clearance from the homeowner before my maid can enter the village. Is this fair? What shall I do?

First write them a letter regarding the harsh action taken against your maid. Then if the same did not work you can take legal action against the person preventing your maid to enter the premises. You are a member of the association and thus you have the right to demand that your maid be allowed entry to the subdivision.
