Legal Question in Employment Law in Philippines
i signed my clearance on Dec. 6th after filing for my resignation. I was supposed to receive all my backpay, etc. but the HR officer told me that she will contact me a week after for the check because their boss wasn't able to send a sufficient amount for their payroll. in good faith, i have signed the quit claim and clearance without receiving anything but still hoping that they will pay me in good faith that i have worked with them for four years. it's been almost three weeks already and they haven't contacted me yet, nor were there any efforts to reply to my messages. Can i file a legal claim against them even if i signed the quit claim they handed to me on Dec. 6th?
