Legal Question in Employment Law in Philippines
i was terminated from a company recently, for a cause of not reporting for duty for more than 3 days,for the reason of,
i went to my hometown for a emergency case,and i was not able to inform the management.when i came back they terminated me.because if commited awol.
i've been in the company for almost 2 years but im not a regular employee,
here's my question, can i ask for an employment certification? so that i can use it when i will apply for a new job?because they said i can't receive any certification because i'm awol,what are the things i need for getting the certification, in order for them to give it to me,, i rely need help, please help me... thanks a lot.

You have to file an illegal dismissal case against your employer and claim for regularization. In this regard, they can be compelled.
