Legal Question in Personal Injury in Philippines

I have been experiencing verbal assaults such as insults, intimidation, and humiliation from my uncle for almost 11 years now. I can clearly remember that he even wished that i would be stabbed to death some time in 1999. But i let these all pass because our family didnt seem to mind these at all...
I'm 26 years old now and is pregnant on my 28th week aog... just a few days ago, my uncle dropped by our house and insulted me infront of my husband. I told him to leave our house but he still continued on insulting me and said harsh things to me. He even expressed happiness for i have been undergoing a delicate pregnancy. Though it is purely verbal assault, I am still afraid that he may come back anytime and cause harm to me and my family especially my unborn child. Im so concerned about our safety and security.
What are the steps i can take to gain protection from the police? Am i entitled to get a restraining order so that my uncle wont be able to come near me or my family? Do i need a lawyer to get a restraining order?
