Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Philippines

my mother has already passed away with unsettled estate (mortgage). Do we still need to pay her estate's debts, arrears and the rest until the contract was finished or the estate is considered paid upon her death?

Yes, when you settle her estate all obligations should be paid.The estate should be settled within six months from the death of the decedent and pay the estate taxes..
