Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Philippines

we our in the squatter area.. our relatives (Mr. Amado)ask us to live in that place 16 years ago..

And now.. we have decided to sell our house and lot..

but the relatives of Mr. Amado are complaining about our selling because they said they have the right over the property because they are the nearest relatives of Mr. Amado,, but they don't have any proof or documents to support their argument. thanks a lot..
