Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Philippines
My aunt in the US was not sure of the donation process in the Philippines so she executed an SPA for me to dipose of her property in the Philippines and had it consularized so I could sign for her as she wanted to give her property to me. Can I sign for her as a donor as her attorney-in-fact and for myself as donee in a DEED OF DONATION? I am currently in the Philippines for vacation. Thank you very much for the advice!

The donation can be executed by your aunt before the Philippine consulate. Thus, no need for the SPA. She can sign the deed of donation and then have it authenticated before the Philippine consulate. Then the Philippine law governs the formalities of the donation.
