Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Puerto Rico

Child support
I am currently paying child support and part of my federal refund check was withheld for back support that I do not owe. How can I get my money refunded back and have my support order adjusted? I have tried to settle outside of court with the corresponding offices with no success.

You are going to have to go to court and ask that your support be reduced until the amount taken from the tax return is credited back.
