child support

Can I be arrested by a state court for Child support arrears while I am serving as active duty on the army. I am paying $300 per month. My next court hearing is on Monday, july 30, 2007.

Re: child support

The local statute does not contemplate an exception. Federal law, however, may preempt an actual arrest without the participation of the armed forces and its internal legal institutions.
