Legal Question in Family Law in Puerto Rico

Child Support Puerto Rico

I have a daughter that is going to be 19 years old in October, 2007. I have been paying Child Support, since her mother left me, and since then I have no information about my daughter. I cannot afford a lawyer, or even go go Puerto Rico to fight for visitation. I live in Florida. The Child Support is being discounted from my pay check. When the Child Support Payments will stop? Do I have to ask for it or it will be done automatically when she is emancipated? What is the age of emancipation in Puerto Rico? Thank you

Re: Child Support Puerto Rico

You may request a review of your pension once she became 18. However, if she continues to study, you may have to put her through the entire bachelor's degree.
