Legal Question in Family Law in Puerto Rico

divorce for adultery, or irreconciliable differences?

My husband has cheated on me for six months. I want to divorce, but am not sure whether to proceed a divorce for adultery or for irreconciliable differences. How complicated is the divorce for adultery? What happens to our assets (not much, just a few thousands)? There are no kids or real estate involved.

A mutual consent divorce is far simpler and more cost-effective than a divorce because of the adultery, given that no procedural or substantive advantages are associated with it.
