Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Puerto Rico

Need advice on how to obtain record of parents' will in Puerto Rico

Both my parents passed away and left home to myself and 2 siblings. I have not seen specific details of last will and have been unable to acquire info from their atty. He has not returned calls, letters, etc... What would be my best first step in getting this information. I want to make sure the taxes and other things get paid on time but I am at a loss for info. I need to know what agencies I should and can contact in Puerto Rico to help me out..

Thanks for any and all replies..

You may need an attorney letter to that attorney to get his attention. Most jurisdictions require the original will be filed within a certain period of time, and the attorney has duties to the beneficiaries if he has the will. You may also try contacting another attorney in Puerto Rico (if that is where the property is located) to begin the probate process without waiting for the other attorney.
