Legal Question in Criminal Law in Rhode Island
Friend/Dealer Caught for Selling Pills
My friend was recently arrested on man/del/poss with intent to distribute a schedule III/IV narcotic, it was vicodin, he was caught with lots of evidence that showed he was getting them from the internet using medical records and just ids of any people he had from old records or friends, etc... ids were used without peopoles permission, were used just to establish as a new person to these online pharmacies. Friend was caught with evidence and packages but about just 40 pills, all vicodins, he used to sell me hundreds of pills that I would buy for my friends and myself to eat, I have had a bad problem with painkillers addiction, this is in RI RHODE ISLAND, his house was searched/seizured last month as well as another house he has I was contacted and they have some evidnece on me but they said if I cooperate in the charges they found on him for child porn that I will not be charged with any of my pill involvement, would I have been in any trouble already when he got arrested, am I looking at serious charges? he is in jail without parole as he was violating a 7 year parole/probation sentence he was one, I have NEVER been arrested, I am a MA Massachusetts resident and im 22 years old he was in 40s.

This is a serious matter. I strongly suggest that you consult a Rhode Island (RI) Criminal law Attorney / Lawyer about your sitaution. You should not speak to anyone about this matter with the exception of your attorneys. I suggest that you dont post anything more about this on the internet.
