Adultery
I have 2 of my best friends that are not getting along too good these days because of the wife having an affair can her husband sue her ''boyfriend''

The short answer is no, absent further details to the rather sparse facts set forth in the question, the conduct described would not give your best friend's husband a legitimate right to sue.
The facts specified are elements of a previously recognized cause of action known generally as "alientaion of affection."
The Rhode Island legislature abolished such actions by statute (R.I. Gen. Laws �9-1-42��states, "Alienation of affection, criminal conservation, or seduction � Causes of action abolished. � No civil action shall be commenced or prosecuted for alienation of affection, criminal conversation, or seduction, and those causes of action are hereby abolished.")
