Legal Question in Family Law in Rhode Island

living arrangements/lease

My husband is friends with the Landlord. both our names is on the current lease, but he is having me removed from it because we are heading towards a divorce. I have 3 children/1 with him. I receive unemployment and child support from the absent father of my other 2 children. Is this legal that they can remove me from the lease?

If you are headed for divorce and divorce has not been filed by you or served upon you, then this is not truly a family law question.

You should resubmit your question as a landlord/tenant question so that the appropriate lawyer may answer this question for you.
