If you know the town or city where your future wife is from you may want to call the "town hall" or other center for municipal government affairs and inquire about public records. You should also find out if there was a church where your future wife was from they may also have records of a previous marriage. You may also wish to inquire of your own pastor as he will have an easier time communicating with another church.
