Legal Question in Family Law in Rhode Island

Medical insurance

My son resides with his father who now lives in PA. Under the agreement of our

divorce (at the time my ex-husband was not working) we agreed I would provide

health insurance for both of them. They since moved to PA - I live in MA my

health coverage will only cover him in MA or RI - He has started to work in PA

can I drop him off of my insurance being that it no longer is useful to them in

PA since they are out of area?

Re: Medical insurance

In a divorce, you can only change a court order by a new court order. If you wish to stop paying insurance, get an order from the court. If it is waste of money as you suggest, then the court should be willing to make a change. However, be careful that it won't cost you more money to make the change.
