Legal Question in Family Law in Rhode Island

I have question that would be possible to be answered i got full custody of my 3 year old daughter about 9 months ago cause the mother didnt show up at the court date when she was served by a state marshall out of state (CT) and when she took me to court again she tried saying she never got the papers on her hands when the state marshall stated that he gave her those papers and put it under oath... But i just found out that she can get my child back with full custody and slap me with visitation rights which i don't want to cause when she fled the state of Rhode island went to another state and started using Goverment help (welfare) with out me knowing but i wana know if i really do need a lawyer to take this case and just hit her with visitation rights instead of me losing what i got already but the judge said that she can get my daughter back and change the order papers and go pass him with some kinda judgement papers but she needs a lawyer in order to get that threw what kinda information can i get for me to change all of this and me to keep my full custody order and just leave everything how it is with out anything being change my case is very complicated but i dont know what kinda lawyer would take this case do to its complications...I have one in mine, In Rhode island he is suppose to be the best in the state but he is very expensive but he comes highly recommended...
