Legal Question in Family Law in Rhode Island

Violation in Divorce/Custody agreement

I am writing for advice. My ex husband has changed his phone number and has not given or notified me of the new number. He has also violated a few of the agreements on the divorce decree, that he and I both signed. I also have 2 children, both his. We share joint custody. I live in Rhode Island, he lives in Arizona. Please get back to me and let me know what I can do.

Re: Violation in Divorce/Custody agreement

You did not specify as to what your ex is not doing. If he is not visiting the children there is not much that you can do about that. The court can not make someone be a good parent. If he is not paying child suppor then you can file a motion for contempt. The action to take all depends on what he is not doing.
