I am being sued by my neighbor becase my dog got free from my home, ran up to him on the street, he was jogging by, and bit him.
he is sueing me in supreme court.

First, the Supreme Court in Rhode Island is the highest court, and is a court of appeal, not a trial court. The trial court would be either the District or Superior Court.
