Re: annul american citizenship

It is possible to renounce american citizenship. If you wish to do so for tax reasons you may find some complications are involved.

Assuming you wish to pursue this for tax reasons, you may wish to contact an appropriate professional.

However, for your information, must citizenship issues will be covered in the Immigration & Naturalization Act. You may wish to go to the government website for the Department of Homeland Security/Citizenship and Naturalization Services for further information.

Best wishes.

Again, something must be in the air today...

Why on earth would you want to revoke the citizenship of a dead person? If it's an estate matter, perhaps, but in that case, you need to understand that citizenship is a right that belongs to the INDIVIDUAL, not the estate. Once a person dies, it's kinda hard for them to defend themselves and thus, there's no reason to take something away in death that they enjoyed in life.

With respect to the living, yes it is possible to lose citizenship IF you are not born with it. it is not something you can lose as a natural born American...although I'm sure Ashcroft and crew are working on it!
