Unfortunately, Florida is an at-will state, so unless you were fired because of your race, religion, national origin, disability, age (if over 40), or other protected characteristic, your employer is legally entitled to terminate your employment for any reason--a good reason, a bad reason, a false reason, or no reason at all.
