Apartment change of ownership

I currently have a year lease with the company that owns the apartment complex I live in. I just recieved a letter from them saying that another company acquired the complex. The original company was based in a location that was very close to me. The new company is farther away and I will have to mail my checks instead of hand delivering them. Does this change of ownership void my current lease in anyway?
