Legal Question in Personal Injury in Rhode Island

hi this guy has a record,around 12'30am he call ed my phone where my 74yr mother lives an my girlfreind he was making growling noises so i took phone off hook which pissed him,his father brings him to my moms mobole home at 130am when i heard pounding on windows doors ect i didnt know it was him at first an thought it could be more i had taken a sle eping pill an had air on so his banging was super loud,i feared for my mom's an my life for i have a terminal illness where i cant beat up a balloon so i told my stupid girl to call 911 3times but she didnt for she's not all there,anyway i do have registerd,legally bought guns so i brought one out u think a 22 rifle,wh en i opened the door i noticed a white car with an older man in it[the kids dad] now he saw me coming out with the gun our eyes met,yet the guy instead of jumpimg out saying woohh wait a second i will get my son he's drunk,instead he just sat there like nothing was going on so i came down my stairs still not knowing who or how many there were,i had the gun craddled with safety on,never pointing it,then out of my left eye i heard the voice of a guy i knew i turned around never pointing it especially after recognizing him yet he smashed me in the eye with glass,ect
